About The Company
In 1960, at the age of 17, Bill Hanna, the founder of Triple H Transport Ltd started in the house
moving industry by hiring on with Mix the Mover Ltd. Over the years, he became foreman and worked
for Ron Mix all over Alberta - moving everything imaginable including grain elevators, hotels,
community halls and even apartment buildings.
In 1971, Bill decided to start his own company and founded Triple H Transport Ltd, which operated
out of Edmonton. It was at this time that the concept of modular homes was becoming popular in the
housing industry. Triple H became the mover for Facto Homes which was one of the first modular
home plants in the Edmonton area. In 1986, Triple H Transport was sold to Superior Equipment
Haulers, which in turn was sold to Robinson Enterprises. As a result, the equipment was sold,
but the company itself ceased to operate. In 1990, Bill Hanna decided to get back into the moving
business and started again as Sherwill Consulting Ltd. In 1994, the name Triple H Transport Ltd.
was reclaimed from RTL Robinson Enterprises. Hence the name Triple H Transport (1994) Ltd.
By this time, two of the Hanna sons, Bill Jr. and Bob, had become an integral part of the business.
The company now employs 7 people with house moving experience totalling over 85 years.
